An idyllic escape with all the right elements! The tranquil setting with lush greenery and a pond captivates you. The delightful complimentary tea at sunset and a soothing Ayurvedic massage are standouts. Friendly staff always ready to help makes it even more special. Prepared to be pampered in every sense!

Dining options are somewhat limited and lack the variety expected at a resort of this caliber. Room service can also be frustratingly slow.

The stay at Taj Kumarakom was wonderful. The location by the lagoon offered stunning views. The staff welcomed me warmly at reception. Sandanam in the restaurant provided exceptional service and made every meal enjoyable. The variety of activities around the property was impressive. I particularly loved the bike ride through the gardens and enjoyed the spa services. Chef Manoj prepared delicious Kerala cuisine, attentive to dietary needs. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable at times, which caused some inconvenience. The room could have used a kettle that worked properly. Lastly, the shikara ride could have been cleaner. the backwaters weren't as pristine as expected.

Nice place with excellent wi-fi, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, and a friendly 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me find my lost wallet during my first stay. I always come back for the great experience!

The experience at Taj Kumarakom Resort And Spa Kerala was outstanding. The picturesque location by the backwaters was truly mesmerizing. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food, especially the local dishes, was delicious. I stayed in a Luxury Villa Lotus Garden View King Bed, which had a lovely seating area perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Some walkways were dimly lit, making navigation tricky at night.

The lush greenery and charming Victorian architecture provided a serene escape, while the easy access to the lagoon made it convenient for everyone, even seniors like myself, to enjoy the beautiful surroundings comfortably.

Amazing stay! The Heritage Room Lagoon/pool View King Bed was super cozy with a minibar, private bathroom, and nice tea/coffee maker. Spa facilities were top-notch, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was delicious with live cooking stations. The pool area was fantastic, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. The garden views were stunning, surrounded by nature.
